Student Prompt: Write a short (1-3 paragraph) response using one of the bulleted outlines below. Cite details from the play over the course of your response that serve as examples and support.

1. Consider Zlata’s life and personality as described through the diary entries before and after the start of the war.

  • In what ways does the war impact Zlata’s relationship with her diary? (topic sentence)
